Pat the Artist

The Doodle Collection
Bun often found discarded scraps of paper that Pat had doodled on, and she diligently collected them for safekeeping in a file, aptly named Pat's Doodles.
A SELF-PORTRAIT
Did you know Pat had high hopes of becoming an artist when he was young? Well, that and a mountain man, of course. He even started out as an art major in college, but switched to English when Bun pointed out that he was expected to earn enough money to support their family.
We imagine Pat drew this self-portrait upon realizing that Bun's observation about his need to earn a living was a legitimate concern.

The Whole Fam Damily
Clearly, that's not our fam damily! How do we know? For one thing, our babies were much cuter!

Last of the Great Weeders
Bun, possibly the world's greatest weeder, wrestling with a stubborn thistle out in the garden.

... and, of course, a random beaver

Let Me Be Me
Pat's various attempts at a self-portrait.
Note the baffled look on all their faces.

For the Love of Beaky
Pat's childhood pet turkey, Beaky, was the featured entertainment at one very traumatic Thanksgiving dinner at the McManus's.

The Observers
But what are they all looking at?
